Our SECOND adoption journey!

January 24, 2011 - We receive the app from His Hands Taiwan.

February 1, 2011 - Our app is APPROVED! :)

October 28, 2011 - Completed our 8 hours of Hague training for our Home Study.

November 23, 2011 - Fingerprinted for HS background checks.

December 6, 2011 - We dropped off our completed Home Study packet.

January 11, 2012 - Our Home Study is COMPLETE!

January 13, 2012 - We receive our completed Home Study.

January 17, 2012 - Overnighted i-600a to USCIS.

January 31, 2012 - Received our USCIS biometrics appointment.

February 2, 2012 - Walked in to USCIS THREE WEEKS EARLY for our biometrics appointment. No problems. Done in 15 minutes. Praise God!

February 18, 2012 - Received our I-171H!! WhooHoo! We are READY to see our child's face!!

April 19, 2012 - Praise God! We have a SON in Taiwan! Maddox Christian was born April 3, 2012.

April 19, 2012 - Went to SOS and TECO with documents.

May 1, 2012 - Our paperwork was submitted to court.

June 25, 2012 - Homestudies done on Maddox and his birthmom in Taiwan.

September 26, 2012 - Court hearing in Taiwan.

October 4, 2012 - First decree

October 30, 2012 - Final decree

Our Journey to Mia

April 28, 2009- Kalina so sweetly e-mailed me His Hands adoption application so I wouldn't have to wait for it!

May 1, 2009- Our first real step besides talking about it! I called around to find someone to do our Home Study!

May 4, 2009- Picked up our Home Study packet, also ordered birth & marriage certificates.

May 4, 2009- Submitted application to His Hands Taiwan!!!

May 6, 2009- Completed 2 1/2 hour online adoption course.

May 8, 2009- Fingerprinted for criminal checks.

May 13, 2009- Everyone had to have a physical for the Home Study.

May 20, 2009- Turned in Home Study packet.

May 27, 2009- Application Accepted by His Hands Taiwan!!!

June 1, 2009- Social worker came to our home for Home Study.

June 5, 2009- Completed a 10 hour Adoption Educational Seminar.

June 5, 2009- Received my passport.

June 10, 2009- Picked up completed Home Study!!

June 22, 2009- Filed I-600A.

June 29, 2009- Jason received his passport.

August 1, 2009- Received approval from Immigrations!

August 4, 2009- E-mailed Home Study, POA, ID, etc to His Hands! Now we're just waiting for a referral!!! Pray that it comes quickly!!!

March 18, 2010- PRAISE GOD! We have a daughter in Taiwan! Mia Ryanne was born on March 1, 2010.

April 24, 2010- Received our translated documents from His Hands!

April 26, 2010- Went to SOS and TECO to get documents authenticated!

April 29, 1010- Received documents back from TECO. Shipped them to Taiwan.

May 3, 2010- Documents delivered in Taiwan.

June 9, 2010- 3:00pm (Taiwan time) court date!!!

July 26, 2010- Received FINAL DECREE!! Mia is OURS!!!

August 11, 2010- Started the long trip to get Mia.

August 13, 2010- MIA IS IN OUR ARMS!!!
